Armed group robs NMB Bank in Mahottari, loots Rs 3.8 million (Video)
KATHMANDU: An armed group carried out a robbery at the NMB Bank located in Aurahi Bazaar-2 of Mahottari on Tuesday.
According to the police, four unknown persons, armed with pistols, caused terror to the bank employees and robbed the bank this afternoon.
Dilip Kumar Giri, Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) and the Spokesperson of the Mahottari Police told the Nepal Press that they robbed Rs 3.8 million from the bank.
He said, “The robbers had pistols. The activities of the masked robbers have been captured on CCTV cameras. We are conducting searches.”
Following the robbery, the bank has been closed for now.
Police said that they are investigating the case.
