Palpa bus accident: One killed, 18 injured

KATHMANDU: A woman died and 18 others sustained injuries when a bus they were traveling on met with an accident in Palpa on Sunday.

The identity of the deceased is yet to be established.

The bus (Lu 1 Kha 5956) was traveling from Butwal to Baglung when the accident took place in Tinau Rural Municipality-5 at 9:15 AM this morning.

The injured are in critical condition, police said.

According to locals, the bus fell some 50 meters from the road.

Police are further investigating the case.
