Maoist leader Indra Bahadur Angbo’s vehicle attacked (video)

BIRATNAGAR: People, who have been protesting against the naming of Province 1 as Koshi Province, attacked the vehicle of Province Assembly Parliamentary Party leader of the CPN (Maoist Centre) Indra Bahadur Angbo in Taplejung on Tuesday.

A group of unidentified persons attacked Angbo’s vehicle when he was heading towards Phungling from Phidim in Taplejung this afternoon.

Angbo was heading towards Phungling to participate in a district-level meeting of the party.

The protestors pelted stones at vehicle, said Angbo’s personal secretary Pujan Magarati.

A similar attack attempt was made on Koshi Province Chief Minister Hikmat Karki on Monday.
