RSP decides to vote for Ram Chandra Paudel in presidential election

KATHMANDU: Rastriya Swatantra Party, the fourth largest party in the Parliament, has decided to extend support to the ruling coalition.

A joint meeting of the Parliamentary Party and officer bearers held on Thursday decided to vote for nine-party alliance candidate Ram Chandra Paudel in the presidential election.

The Rastriya Swatantra Party has 19 lawmakers.

Nepali Congress senior leader Ram Chandra Paudel is contesting the election for the post of President from the ruling alliance against CPN-UML Vice-Chairman Subash Nembang.
