Justice Bishowambhar Shrestha to hear writs filed against PM Dahal

KATHMANDU: A single bench of Justice Bishowambhar Shrestha is going to hear the writ petitions filed against Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal.

A preliminary hearing will be conducted in the Supreme Court today in the writs filed by Advocates Gyanendra Raj Aran and Kalyan Budhathoki demanding action against Dahal for killing 5, 000 people.

Addressing a programme on January 15, 2020, Dahal had said that he would take the responsibility for the deaths of 5, 000 people out of 17, 000 in the Maoist insurgency.
