Koshi Province government announces public holiday today

KATHMANDU: The Koshi Province government has announced a public holiday today to celebrate the naming of the province.

The Internal Affairs and Law Ministry on the recommendation of the Cabinet meeting decided to grant a public holiday today.

The Ministry congratulated all the residents of the province and announced a public holiday today on the occasion of the naming the province as Koshi Province.

During the voting held on Wednesday, 82 cast their votes in favour and four against the proposal to name the province as Koshi Province.
