PM Dahal, CPN (US) Chair Nepal hold meeting

KATHMANDU: Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal and CPN (Unified Socialist) Chairman Madhav Nepal held a meeting at the CPN (Maoist Centre)’s Parliamentary Party office in Singhadurbar on Thursday.

During the meeting, the two leaders discussed the presidential election.

The politics took a new turn after the CPN-UML put forward the name of CPN (Unified Socialist) Chairman Madhav Nepal for the post of President.

Earlier on Wednesday, Congress leaders held a meeting with Prime Minister Dahal and discussed reinstating the five-party alliance.
