UML leader Pariyar nominated as CPN (MC) central member
KATHMANDU: CPN-UML leader Yam Bahadur Pariyar has been made a central member of the CPN (Maoist Centre).
He is in the list of the central members announced by the Maoist Centre.
Pariyar, who was the Chitwan district co-incharge of the then Maoist, was appointed as the district Chairman when Nepali Communist Party was formed.
After the unification of CPN-UML and Maoist, he was appointed as the district Chairman of Chitwan under the Maoist.
Then district Chairman of UML Krishna Bhakta Pokharel was made the Secretary.
Pariyar returned to the Maoist after the NCP split.
But, he joined the UML before the elections.
Maoist Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal contested the elections from Gorkha after the party district Chairman joined the UML.
Maoist leaders have said that his name was included in the list due to technical error.
