NEPSE increases by 12.45 points on Thursday

KATHMANDU: The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) saw an increase of 12.45 points, resulting in a closing value of 2,182.63 points on Thursday.

The sensitive index also rose by 1.42 points, closing at 415.42 points.

During the day, a total of 5,648,212 shares from 257 different companies were traded for a worth of Rs 2.06 billion.

At the end of the day, the total market capitalization was calculated to be Rs 3.14 trillion.

The top-performing company for the day was Barahi Hydropower Company Limited, which experienced a 10.00% increase in its stock price.
