Locals stage demonstration against Mayor Balendra Shah in Maitighar

KATHMANDU: Locals have staged a demonstration against the Mayor of the Kathmandu Metropolitan City (KMC) Balendra Shah in Maitighar on Sunday afternoon.

They said that they protested after the KMC created terror by bulldozing private properties.

The demonstrators were holding placards with slogans such as ‘Stop dozer terror, stop cruel actions of the metropolis’, and ‘ensure the right to property guaranteed by the constitution’, etc.
