Adil Ansari, Mehbob Alam nabbed for spot-fixing in Nepal T20 League

KATHMANDU: National cricket team player Adil Ansari and former national cricket team player Mehbob Alam have been arrested for spot-fixing in the Nepal T20 League.

A source at the Central Investigation Bureau (CIB) of Nepal Police said that Alam was nabbed from Rajbiraj and Adil from Biratnagar.

According to the source, both of them are being brought to Kathmandu.

The CIB has been carrying out an investigation on the issue of spot-fixing in the recently concluded Nepal T20 League.

The source said that the details about the investigation will be made public once they were brought to Kathmandu.

Former all-rounder Alam has a record of 10 wickets in a match while Ansari is the rising all-rounder of the national cricket team.
