PM Dahal expands Cabinet, new ministers sworn in

KATHMANDU: Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal expanded his Cabinet on Tuesday.

The Prime Minister expanded the Cabinet this afternoon leaving a few ministries to rope in the parties including the Janata Samajbadi Party.

The newly appointed minister took the oath of office and secrecy from President Bidya Devi Bhandari amidst a function in Sheetal Niwas.

The CPN-UML got highest eight ministries and CPN (Maoist Centre) got three ministries.

Similarly, Rastriya Swatantra Party and Rastriya Prajatantra Party got three ministries each and Janata Samajbadi Party disagreed on two ministries.

Likewise, Janamat Party got one ministry and Rastriya Swatantra Party and Rastriya Prajatantra Party got one state ministry each.
