Black box of crashed aircraft in Pokhara found

KATHMANDU: The black box of the crashed aircraft belonging to Yeti Airlines has been found on Monday.

According to Jagannath Niraula, Spokesperson of the Civil Aviation Authority of Nepal (CAAN), the black box of the crashed aircraft was located and retrieved this morning.

The black box has been handed over to the Nepali Army, Niraula said.

The Yeti Airlines aircraft, on which 72 people were onboard including 68 passengers and four crew members, crashed at Phewa Khoch in Pokhara yesterday.

The black box is an important device of the aircraft that helps in finding out the causes of the air crash.
