Yeti Airlines plane crash : 66 bodies recovered, nobody found alive till now
KATHMANDU: As many as 66 bodies have been recovered so far from the Yeti Airlines crash site in Pokhara, according to Nepali Army (NA).
Not a single person has been found alive till now, said Krishna Bhandari, Spokesperson of the Nepali Army.
According to him, the dead bodies of 30 people have been kept at the Gandaki provincial hospital and the mortal remains of 34 people are being recovered from the crash site.
The search for the remaining six victims is underway, said Nepali Army Assistant Rathi Bhandari.
It has been learned that the fire caught by the plane has been taken under control.
Earlier on Sunday morning, a Yeti Airlines plane with 72 people on board crashed at Phewa Khoch in Pokhara.
