Advocate Dinmani Pokharel recommended as attorney general

KATHMANDU: Advocate Dinmani Pokharel has been recommended for the post of attorney general.

Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal has recommended Pokharel to the post.

Pokharel, who has worked closely with the Maoist for a long time, had not got an important opportunity yet.

There is provision that the President has to appoint the attorney general at the recommendation of the prime minister.

Following the appointment, the Chief Justice will administer the oath of office and secrecy.
