NBA’s lawyers at SC gate to prevent CJ Rana from entering office

KATHMANDU: Nepal Bar Association lawyers have stayed at the gate of the Supreme Court to bar Chief Justice Cholendra Shumsher Rana from entering his office.

With the Nepal Bar Association’s decision, lawyers have reached the gate to bar CJ Rana from entering the Supreme Court.

Rana is preparing is return to the Supreme Court today after the Parliament Secretariat General Secretary Bharat Raj Gautam hand him a letter saying that the impeachment motion filed against him has become ineffective.
