Students stage demonstration in Dhangadhi today also (With video)

KAILALI: Students have continued the protest that started following the death of a student in Dhangadhi today also.

Chetana Saud had died on the spot after a vehicle hit her while blacktopping the road along the Hasanpur-Pipalchautara of Dhangadhi. The students have been demanding stern action against the driver.

The vehicle hit Saud, an eighth grader at the Padmodaya Higher Secondary School in Hasanpur, while she was heading towards the school on a bicycle.

The District Administration Office has issued a prohibitory order with effect from Thursday evening until further notice.

Police have arrested five students during a clash with the security personnel.
