NC decides to field Man Bahadur Limbu in place of Shekhar Chandra Thapa

BIRATNAGAR: The Nepali Congress is preparing to field Maan Bahadur Limbu as the candidate in the Province Assembly election constituency-1 of Morang-3.

NC Secretary Mod Raj Ghimire told Nepal Press over phone that the party is preparing to make Limbu as the candidate.

The party decided to field Limbu following the death of earlier candidate Shekhar Chandra Thapa.

Forest, Environment and Land Conservation Minister of Province 1 Thapa passed away on Wednesday.

He breathed his last during the course of treatment at the Biratnagar-based Nobel Hospital.
