Bansbari hotel manager arrested for secretly recording videos of guests

KATHMANDU: Police on Friday arrested the manager of Bansbari Restro Café and lodge for secretly recording videos of the guests who had come to stay at the hotel.

The suspect has been identified as Mukesh Mali (42) of Chandragiri-15, Kathmandu.

Police arrested Mali after he was accused of secretly recording videos of the guests staying in the hotel.

Acting on a tip-off, a team of Metropolitan Police Circle, Maharjgung apprehended Mali and confiscated a mobile phone from his possession.

Police found recorded videos of the guests who had come to stay in the lodge from Mali’s phone.

Police said that they are further investigating the case.
