COVID-19 : Nepal records 53 new cases on Monday

KATHMANDU: Nepal recorded 53 new Covid-19 cases on Monday. No deaths were reported today.

According to the Ministry of Health and Population (MoHP), 825 swab samples were tested in the RT-PCR method, of which 39 returned positive.

Likewise, 1, 799 people underwent antigen tests, of which 14 tested positive.

The Ministry said that 84 infected people recovered from the virus in the last 24 hours.

There are currently 1, 178 active cases in the country.
