Death toll in Makwanpur bus accident reaches seven (update)

HETAUDA: The death toll in the Makwanpur Bus accident has reached seven.

As many as six people died on the spot when a bus (Ba 3 Kha 7858) heading towards Hetauda from Kathmandu fell around 65 meters down the road on Thursday afternoon.

Police said that one person died on the way while being taken to the hospital for treatment.

The identities of the deceased are yet to be established, police said.

It has been learned that the injured are receiving treatment in Hetauda.
