Three members of a family killed in Kavre landslide

HETAUDA: Three members of a family died when a landslide buried a house in Bethanchowk-4 of Kavre district on Thursday.

DSP Anjana Shrestha of the District Police Office, Kavre, Nir Bahadur Tamang (44) and Sabitri Tamang (40) died on the spot when the mudslide buried the house at around 3 am today.

Critically injured in the incident, Thuli Maya Tamang (65) died while undergoing treatment at a hospital, Shrestha said.
