Mayor Balen Shah’s next action: KMC team in Passport Department to clear parking area

KATHMANDU: A team of the Kathmandu Metropolitan City has reached Tripureshwor-based Department of Passport to clear the parking area.

The Department has been ignoring the letter of the KMC sent two days ago to clear the parking area.

The service seekers have been facing problems after the parking area was used for other purposes. That is why, the KMC is clearing that area by using force, a source said.

KMC Mayor Balen Shah, however, will not be on the field today.

The metropolis police personnel have already reached the Department of Passport to vacate the parking area.  A team led by SP Raju Pandey had reached the area.

Preparations are underway to call a dozer if need be.
