Indian national held with 1 kg gold from TIA

KATHMANDU: Police on Saturday arrested an Indian national with 1 kg gold from Tribhuvan International Airport.

The arrestee has been identified as Rahul Ramana (31).

He had arrived in Kathmandu from Dubai.

Police on suspicion had conducted an X-ray on Ramana in Kathmandu Medical College (KMC).

Ramana was apprehended after the gold was found inside his stomach.

Police said that they are further investigating the case.
