COVID-19: Nepal records 888 new cases, 1 death on Monday

KATHMANDU: Nepal recorded 888 new Covid-19 cases along with one death on Monday.

According to the Ministry of Health and Population (MoHP), 3, 155 swab samples were tested in the RT-PCR method, of which 427 returned positive.

Likewise, 2, 582 people underwent antigen tests, of which 461 returned positive.

The Ministry said that 474 infected people recovered from the virus in the last 24 hours.

There are currently 5,387 new cases of Covid-19 in the country.
