Nepal is committed to One-China policy: Speaker Sapkota tells Chinese envoy

KATHMANDU : Chinese ambassador to Nepal Hour Yanqi called on Speaker Agni Prasad Sapkota at the latter’s resident in Lainchaur on Friday.

During the meeting, the duo discussed bilateral relations, mutual interest and concern between Nepal and China.

On the occasion, Speaker Sapkota said that Nepal is committed to One-China Policy.

He praised China for the achievement it has made in poverty alleviation in the recent decade, for the initiatives it has taken to control the COVID-19 pandemic.

In response, Chinese ambassador Hou lauded Nepal’s commitment to the One-China policy.
