Tourism Ministry Under Secretary Nepal caught red-handed taking bribe

KATHMANDU: A team of the Commission for the Investigation of Abuse of Authority arrested Under Secretary of the Tourism Ministry Pramod Nepal with bribe money of Rs 600, 000 on Tuesday.

He was caught red-handed while receiving kickback from a service seeker at a hotel in Nag Pokhari, Joint Secretary at the CIAA Shyam Prasad Bhandari said.

Further investigation into the case is underway, police said.
