UML takes to the streets to protest against inflation, corruption (With photos)

KATHMANDU: The main opposition CPN-UML staged a demonstration against inflation and corruption in Kathmandu on Monday.

The party said that it has decided to stage the protest after the government did not take any initiatives to control the inflation.

Protest Organizing Committee Coordinator Krishna Gopal Shrestha said that the protest was organized to mount pressure on the government to control inflation and corruption.

He was of the opinion that the life of people has become difficult as the kitchen got expensive due to the soaring food prices.
