NEPSE surges 54.58 points on Sunday

KATHMANDU : The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) surged by 54.58 points to close at 2195.10 points on Sunday.

Similarly, the sensitive index rose 9.72 points to close at 419.20 points.

A total of 11,339,476 units of the shares of 220 companies were traded for Rs 4.60 billion.

Likewise, all the sub-indices saw green except for Hydropower in today’s market.

Meanwhile, IME General Insurance Ltd. (IGI), Nepal Insurance Co. Ltd. (NICL), Prudential Insurance Co. Ltd. (PICL), Neco Insurance Co. Ltd. (NIL) and NLG Insurance Company Ltd. (NLG) were the top gainers today with their prices surging by 10 percent respectively.
