Nepal records 638 new Covid-19 cases, 2 deaths on Tuesday

KATHMANDU : Nepal has recorded 638 new cases of Covid-19 along with two deaths on Tuesday.

According to the Ministry of Health and Population (MoHP), 2,215 swab samples were tested through RT-PCR method, of which 400 returned positive.

Likewise, 2,540 underwent antigen test. Of them 238 returned positive.

Similarly, 218 infected people recovered from the virus in the last 24 hours.

As of today, there are currently 3,714 active cases in the country.
