TIA Customs Office confiscates 480 kg gold worth Rs 3.8 billion in one year

KATHMANDU : The Tribhuvan International Airport Customs Office has confiscated 480 kg gold worth Rs 3.8 billion from the airport in the last fiscal year 2078/79.

TIA customs office made public the details of the last fiscal year on the first day of the current fiscal year 2079/80.

The office collected Rs 455.8 million as revenues from the confiscated gold.
