M Adhikari is not Governor Maha Prasad Adhikari: UML

KATHMANDU: The CPN-UML has clarified that the person mentioned as M Adhikari, Khotang in the Finance and Planning Department is not Governor Maha Prasad Adhikari of the Rastra Bank.

Responding to a letter sent by Adhikari, the UML said that M Adhikari written by party office Secretary Bhisma Adhikari is not Governor Maha Prasad Adhikari.

Saying that the persons holding public post cannot be the members of party committees and departments, the party made it clear that M Adhikari is not Governor Maha Prasad Adhikari.

Earlier, he wrote a letter to the UML central office and said that the name M Adhikari has created confusion among the people.

Hence, Adhikari urged the party to make it clear that he is not affiliated to any party and M Adhikari is not Governor Maha Prasad Adhikari.
