3 Indian nationals held with pistol from Lumbini 

RUPANDEHI : Police on Sunday arrested three Indian nationals in  possession of a pistol and bullets from Lumbini Sanskritik Municipality-6, Rupandehi.

The arrestees have been identified as Mehdi Hussain (34) also known as Chinak, Akbar Khan (51) and Ashik Ali (55) of India, said the Rupandehi police.

All of them were riding on a motorbike (UP 55 AD 0654) when police arrested them at 8 :30 pm last night.

Police said that they recovered a pistol, 2 rounds of bullets and a knife from a plastic bag tied around the waist of Chinak. Chinak was the rider of the two-wheeler.

The three had sustained injuries while trying to flee, police said. They are currently receiving treatment at the Medical College in Bhairawa.

Police said that they are further investigating the case.
