Farmers padlock Agriculture Ministry of Madhesh Province

JANAKAPURDHAM: Farmers padlocked the Ministry of Land Management, Agriculture and Cooperatives of Madhesh Province on Thursday.

They staged the demonstration demanding that the government provide fertilizers and compensation to the damages caused by natural disasters among others.

The farmers staged a sit-in by padlocking the ministry.

Shesh Narayan Yadav, who is also a leader of Janata Samajbadi Party, said that they were compelled to stage the demonstration after the  government did not heed to their demands.
