2 killed in Bhaktapur tipper-bike collision

KATHMANDU: Two persons died when a tipper and a motorbike collided with each other near Adarahachowk, Suryabinayak Municipality-8, Bhaktapur on Thursday.

The identities of the deceased are yet to be established. Both were riding on the bike, police said.

Critically injured in the incident, the duo breathed their last during the course of treatment at the Bhaktapur Hospital at around 3 am today.

The motorbike (Ba 89 Pa 7876) heading towards Jagati collided head-on with the tipper (Ba 4 Kha 5298) at around 2 am.

Police said that they have arrested the tipper driver for investigation.
