5 yo killed as car hits scooter in Dhapasi

KATHMANDU: A five-year-old child died when a car hit a scooter at Danfe Colony in Dhapase of Tokha Municipality- 6, Kathmandu on Tuesday.

The deceased has been identified as Priyansh Upreti of the same locality.

The car (Province 1 021Cha2956) hit the two-wheeler (Province 2 035Pa0520) at around 3 PM yesterday.

Critically injured Upreti died while undergoing treatment at Grande Hospital.

Police have taken the car driver under custody for further investigation.
