1 killed,1 injured as bus hits autorickshaw in Hetauda 

HETAUDA: A person died and another sustained injuries when a bus hit an autorickshaw at Ratomate in Hetauda Sub-Metropolitan City-15 along the East-West Highway on Monday.

The deceased has been identified as Milan Sunar (26) of Bara. He was the driver of the autorickshaw.

The incident took place when the bus (Province 2-03-001 Kha 0242) en route to Pathalaiya from Hetauda hit the autorickshaw (Na 2 A 64) coming from the opposite direction at 2 am today, police said.

Sunar, who sustained critical injuries, died during the course of treatment at Churehill Hospital in Hetauda, police said.

Similarly, Subash Sunar, who was travelling in the autorickshaw, was injured in the incident. He is receiving treatment at the hospital.

Police have taken the bus driver under custody for further investigation, said the District Police Office, Makwanpur.
