Four-member Suggestion Committee formed to improve share market

KATHMANDU: The Ministry of Finance has formed a four-member Suggestion Committee to improve the stock market.

Securities Board of Nepal Executive Director Niraj Giri has been appointed as the coordinator of the committee formed under the direction of Finance Minister Janardan Sharma.

The committee will have one member each from the Board, Ministry and Nepal Rastra Bank.

The Ministry formed the committee at a time when the share market has been plunging continuously for the past few days.

The share market, which has reached till 3, 200, has dropped to 2, 000 points.
