Indian national held with 94 kg silver from Saptari

SAPTARI: Police apprehended  an Indian national in possession of 94 kg silver ornaments from near Itabhatta in Bodebasain Municipality-9, Saptari.

The detainee has been identified as Basista Chaudhary (22) of Khutauna Gram Panchayat-11, Madhubani district, India.

He was arrested with silver ornaments worth around Rs 400, 000 during a regular security check.

Chaudhary has been sent to the Rajbiraj Customs Office for necessary investigation.
