2 held with automatic pistol from Lalitpur

KATHMANDU: Police on Thursday arrested two persons in possession of an automatic pistol from Balkumari in Lalitpur.

The arrestees have been identified as Surendra Theeng and Bir Bahadur Bomjan of Sarlahi.

Police apprehended the duo and recovered the pistol along with bullets and 2 magazines from them this afternoon, said an official of the Lalitpur Metropolitan Police Range.

Further investigation into the case is underway, police said.
