Tok Bahadur Waiba of CPN (US) elected Mayor of Mandandeupur

KATHMANDU: CPN (Unified Socialist) candidate Tok Bahadur Waiba has been elected as the Mayor of Mandandeupur, Kavre, Home municipality of CPN-UML leader Gokul Baskota, for the second term with 9, 406 votes.

He is also the district chairman of CPN (Unified Socialist).

His closest contender Bidur Prasad Sapkota of CPN-UML secured 8, 351 votes.

Likewise, Bishnu Mani Nepal has been elected as the Deputy Mayor with 11, 305 votes against  Sarita Dhakal of CPN-UML who received 6, 924 votes.
