NepalPress Editor-in-Chief Matrika Poudel honoured with National Journalism Award (With video) 

KATHMANDU: NepalPress Editor-in-Chief Matrika Poudel has been honoured with the National Journalism Award-2076 BS.

The Ministry of Communication and Information Technology had nominated Poudel for the award.

President Bidya Devi Bhandari handed over the award along with the certificate to Editor-in-Chief Poudel amid a function organised at the President’s Office in Sheetal Niwas on Saturday.

Similarly, Communication Minister Gyanendra Bahadur Karki honoured Poudel with a Shawl.

Bal Kumar Nepal, Dilip Thapa Magar, Durga Prasad Sharma, Poonam Poudel, Nitu Pandit, Hemant BK, DR Panta and Thakur Balbase have also been awarded today.

Likewise, Kishor Nepal, Taranath Dahal, Shardul Bhattarai, Raghu Mainali, Harsh Subba and late Agnishikha have been honoured with the Senior Journalist Award.

The government has been honouring senior journalists with the Senior Journalist Award and others with the National Journalism Award every year on the occasion of National Journalism Day.
