2 arrested on charge of stealing property worth Rs 4 million in Sanepa

KATHMANDU: Police arrested two persons on the charge of stealing property worth Rs 4 million from a house in Sanepa, Lalitpur.

The arrestees have been identified as Narayan Shrestha (32) of Lalitpur Metropolitan City-2 and Sauraj Gajmer (31) of Kapiyagadhi Rural Municipality-2, Khotang.

According to police, Shrestha broke into the house and stole valuable items including jewellery and cash and sold it to Gajmer.

Police apprehended the duo and recovered 95 tolas of silver bangles and coins, 3 tolas of gold jewellery and INR 25,000 from them.

Police are further investigating the case.
