1 killed in Babarmahal scooter accident 

KATHMANDU : A person died when a scooter he was riding on met with an accident at Babarmahal in Kathmandu on Sunday.

The deceased has been identified as Kevin Shrestha (26) of Amargadhi Municipality-5, Dadeldhura.

The scooter (Ba 61 Pa 8988)  was heading towards Babarmahal from Baneshwor when the incident took place.

The two-wheeler overturned and crashed into a roadside drain at around 11: 45 pm last night.

Critically injured Shrestha breathed his last while undergoing treatment at Bir Hospital at around 1: 45 pm, police said.

Police are further investigating the case.
