NC recommends five names for mayor of Kathmandu Metropolitan City

KATHMANDU: The Nepali Congress has recommended five names for the post of mayor in the Kathmandu Metropolitan City.

The NC Kathmandu Metropolitan Committee recommended five names and two names for the mayor and deputy mayor respectively.

The Nepali Congress Metropolitan Committee President and ward 20 President Nil Kaji Shakya,  incumbent Deputy Mayor Jari Prabha Khadgi, Srijana Singh, Suman Baidhya and Pragati Man Ranjit have been recommended for the post of mayor.

Similarly, Metropolitan Committee Vice-President Sushil Dhakal and Amit Prashant have been recommended for the post of deputy mayor.
