Government decides to accept around Rs 80 billion in grant assistance from USAID

KATHMANDU: The government has decided to accept around Rs 80 billion in grant aid from United States Agency for International Development (USAID).

Government spokesperson and Minister for Information and Communications Gyanendra Bahadur Karki said so on Friday while making public the decisions of the Cabinet held on Monday.

The government has decided to accept Rs 79. 71 billion in grant assistance from the United States for various development projects.

Similarly, the government has also decided to accept Rs 18 billion in international assistance from the International Development Association (IDA) of the World Bank.
