UML, RPP-N agree to forge alliance in upcoming local polls

KATHMANDU: The main opposition CPN-UML and Rastriya Prajatantra Party-Nepal (RPP-N) have agreed to forge an alliance in the local level elections slated for May 13.

Leaders of both the parties signed a five-point agreement to forge the alliance on Wednesday.

According to the ageement, candidates of RPP-Nepal will contest  the elections under the UML’s electoral symbol in the local polls.

Similarly, RPP-Nepal has agreed to support UML candidates in the places where it has not fielded its candidates.
