NPC clinches National Women’s Beach Volleyball title

PALPA: The Nepal Police Club clinched the title of Sanjay Smriti National Women’s Beach volleyball championship defeating Lumbini Province in the final match.

In the final match played at Rani Mahal of Tansen municipality in Palpa, Nepal Police defeated Lumbini province 2-0 in straight sets to clinch the title.

The NPC defeated Lumbini by 21-8 and 21-17.

The duo of Kamala Pun and Manisha Chaudhary of Nepal Police defeated Bhavana Dangi and Saraswati Kattel of Lumbini. 

The winner received Rs 100,000 in cash along with the title while the runner-up Lumbini received Rs 50,000.
