Jhapa woman killed in lightning strike 

JHAPA: A woman died after being struck by a lightning at Gauradaha municipality-5 in Jhapa on Sunday.

The deceased has been identified as Manamaya Thapa (40) of the same locality.

The incident occurred while she was working near her home at 1 PM this afternoon.

Critically injured Thapa died on her way to the hospital, Area Police Office, Damak said.
