Government announces public holiday on Sunday for Ram Navami 

KATHMANDU : The government has declared a public holiday tomorrow on the occasion of Ram Navami, a festival celebrated by Hindu people as the birth aniverssary of Lord Ram.

A cabinet meeting held on Thursday made the decision to this effect.

Issuing a statement on Saturday, the Ministry of Home Affairs informed about the holiday on the occasion.

Accordingly, all government offices and public agencies across the country will remain closed for tomorrow.
